Content· Warm up· 2 teams –sharks & shipmates· Shipmates steal balls from hoops· Sharks defend hoops· Tagged shipmate first returns ball to hoop then goes to shark cave· Released when teammate hands him/her a ball· No throwing the ball· Sharks can roam freely, but cannot go on the boat or back in their cave· Sharks cannot stand inside a hoop· Variations – more/less hoops, more/less balls, more/less sharks, shipmate safe if standing inside hoop, passing the ball· For large classes, fitness stations may be set up on the perimeter of the playing area to accommodate extra students· Cool downc.
