equipment when entering the gymnasium, students must wait quietly on a

Each team begins on one side of the
gym
Three hula hoops are placed 15 feet
apart in a straight line in front of each team
Each team has a scooter and a long
jump rope
Each team must successfully move each
team member from one end line to the other without touching any body part on
the floor
A student can only touch a body part
on the floor if he/she is inside one of the hula hoops
If a body part does touch the floor
the entire team must start again from the beginning
There is no limit as to how many
students can occupy a hula hoop at one time
There are no right or wrong ways to
accomplish this task
The students must rely on strategy,
creativity, and trial and error in order to succeed
